Precision in moisture control: The key to durable flooring

Precision moisture control ensures our flooring is stable, durable and built to last

When it comes to creating high-quality flooring, every step matters, and one of the most critical factors is moisture control. At our facility, we take great care to ensure that each board has the perfect moisture level before it moves on to the next stage of production.

Our process starts with FSC-certified oak logs, which are carefully dried in our kilns according to DIN-NORM 280/2 standards. This allows us to achieve an average moisture content of 9% (±2%), ensuring the stability and longevity of the wood.

To monitor and measure moisture, we rely on a combination of tools. While we use modern handheld digital meters for convenience, our pin moisture meter remains the most precise and reliable tool in our arsenal. This meter allows us to ensure every board meets our strict quality standards, delivering flooring that’s built to last.

Moisture control may seem like a small step in the process, but it plays a huge role in the durability, stability, and overall quality of the final product.

With precision and care at every step, we’re committed to crafting flooring that stands the test of time.
